Morocco

The country I chose to focus on is Morocco, not only because it’s a destination with a rich cultural  history, but also because it holds personal value for me being that I'm half Moroccan. This semester, I'll be moving to Morocco, which makes this study especially exciting. For me, it's a journey of learning about my culture, and I look forward to experiencing the country firsthand while learning more about its geography.Located in Northern Africa, Morocco is a melting pot of different landscapes that are captivating, ranging from the Atlas Mountains with its snow-capped peaks to the scorching Sahara Desert with its vast golden sands.
